The company realized what happened in November and reported the incident to regulators, including the Maine Attorney General’s Office, in January.

According to breach notices, 537,877 people in the United States are affected, including customers who used ANKA-powered services.

Although the exposure did not involve the platform’s core database or highly sensitive authentication credentials, the compromised dataset included basic personal information such as names, contact details and demographic data, account status and basic transaction history.

GSPlatformCo Inc. and its affiliates say no passwords, payment card numbers, or login tokens were accessed in the breach.

In response to the incident, the company says it secured the affected systems and launched a full security investigation, while also notifying affected users of the breach and advising heightened vigilance against suspicious communications.
