Ethereum corporate purchases almost entirely occurred in Q3, which led to discussions of an Ether supercycle. Will ETH skyrocket 200 percent by the end of the year due to the institutional boom?
The past quarter was marked by a historic increase in corporate Ethereum buying.
Bitwise Invest reported that 95% of the ETH that was purchased by public companies was in Q3 alone, and approximately 4 million ETH was added to corporate balance sheets, the equivalent of about 19 billion dollars.

This amounts to approximately 4 per cent of the total supply of Ethereum, indicating a vigorous accumulation of institutions stage.
Could Q4 Ignite Ether’s Next Big Rally?
Such a buying spurt brings up an interesting question: Will Q4 2025 be as good as it promises?
Traditionally, one of the weakest quarters of Ethereum has been Q4. Nevertheless, as the story of corporate treasuries driving demand goes, this gives some analysts hope that the market will still finish well.
Ethereum experienced a short-lived trade over a price of $4,300 and a recent market-wide sell-off brought the price to a reduced price of less than 4,000 dollars.
Top investors are BitMine Immersion Technologies (3.03 million ETH) and Sharplink Gaming (840,120 ETH) .
Institutional Confidence Fuels Ether Hype
The Sharplink Gaming co-CEO indicated that Ethereum was particularly appealing to institutions due to decentralization and security that help in accumulation.
Besides the corporate purchases, regular inflows into Ether ETFs and 40 percent of the ETH held in staking contracts are all signs of a reduced supply in circulation.
Analyst posts on X indicate that this supply crunch can put Ethereum on a course towards an otherwise known supercycle, potentially doubling or even tripling in value by the year-end.
According to estimates by major players, the Ether is likely to climb to a price of up to 10,000 or even 12,000 and this means that it has a lot of room to go up.
The growing institutional concern in Ethereum and the lack of supply owing to staking and ETF inflows is a sign of a turning point.
These trends are being closely watched by market observers, as to whether they will trigger the start of an extended Ether supercycle.
