Blockstream Capital Partners (BCP), an investment firm focused on integrating Bitcoin with institutional finance, has announced plans to acquire Berglinde AG, a Switzerland-based financial services company specializing in Bitcoin-backed lending and institutional financial products.

The acquisition represents part of BCP’s broader effort to increase its presence in Europe and follows previous investments in Bitcoin financial infrastructure firms, including custody provider Komainu.
The acquisition would extend BCP’s operations in Switzerland and align with its strategy of offering Bitcoin-related services to institutional clients.

Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, Berglinde AG provides overcollateralized Bitcoin lending services and risk management solutions for banks and institutional investors.
Under BCP ownership, the company intends to broaden its European operations and develop new products, including tokenized assets, lending platforms, and cross-border Bitcoin investment offerings.
