Ben Armstrong Alleges Mutiny At BitBoy Crypto
The official X (formerly Twitter) account of BitBoy Crypto announced earlier today that its controlling company, BJ Investment Holdings, had taken “decisive legal action” to remove popular YouTube star Ben Armstrong from the company and the brand. The controversial influencer will no longer be associated with the brand or appear in its regular YouTube videos.
According to the short announcement, the decision to terminate Armstrong’s relationship with the company was made to help him during his relapse into substance abuse. The company added that the YouTube star’s substance abuse had also dealt emotional, physical, and financial damage to the employees of Hit Network and the broader BitBoy Crypto community.
The BitSquad deserves better and we are going to get through this together. We wish him the best and regret that it has come to this and are hopeful for the future of Bitboy Crypto.”
TJ Shedd, CEO at Hit Network
TJ Shedd, the Chief Executive of Hit Network, appeared in a BitBoy Crypto stream earlier today, expressing regret at the latest developments. The BitBoy brand is Hit Network’s most successful yet, having amassed a social media following of more than 3.3 million.
Ben Armstrong didn’t comment on the news of his termination through any official channels but posted a response on the X account of $BEN Coin. The high-profile influencer accused Hit Network’s TJ Shedd and Justin Williams of mounting a coup against him. He added that there had been a mutiny at BitBoy Crypto and Hit Network, but it wouldn’t work since they had no leverage.
