Updating Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification requirements
Recently, Bitget also announced to its new and existing users the new updated Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification requirements, which will go into effect on 1 September.
Specifically, the crypto-exchange wanted to strengthen the user identification process to make trading a secure environment.
So, starting 1 September 2023, new users on Bitget will have to complete level one KYC verification, only then will they be able to access all crypto services.
As for existing users of the platform, they will be able to upgrade their KYC requirements by the end of September.
For those who find themselves on 1 October without having completed level one KYC verification, they will only be able to withdraw, cancel orders, redeem subscriptions and close positions, without being able to create new trading orders.
