The top Web3 trading wallet, Bitget Wallet, has recently connected with the EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain, Berachain Artio Testnet. Users of Bitget Wallet may now easily add the testnet to their wallets using the Bitget Wallet app and browser extension. This enables users to take advantage of easy-to-use on-chain asset management, transfers, and DApp engagement, as well as the opportunity to obtain BERA test tokens. To make it easier to find and access popular DApps in the Berachain ecosystem, Bitget Wallet’s DApp browser will now highlight them.
Based on Proof-of-Liquidity consensus, Berachain is a high-performance blockchain compatible with EVMs. Through network architecture, the conventional smart contract platform is redesigned into a unique Cosmos-native setup. Users can either burn their liquidity into Bera or delegate it to validators to gain fees or bribes, or they can supply liquidity into the primitives (dex, perps, stable lend, or others voted in by governance) that are embedded in the chain. Users bootstrap the chain’s security by contributing to its liquidity.
As Bitget Wallet continues to work toward its objective of offering tight support for the ecosystem and being the first to give seamless access for all Bitget Wallet users, Berachain is preparing for its upcoming mainnet launch, scheduled for the second quarter of this year. In addition, the Bitget Wallet team and Berachain have announced that they will be working together to launch an incentive program for the testnet ecosystem next month to increase user engagement on the Berachain Testnet.
Bitget Wallet has over 15 million active users worldwide and supports 100 mainnets. Because of its proprietary network capabilities, hundreds of EVM-compatible chains can be integrated, increasing users’ access to the vast Web3 ecosystem and hastening the identification of new assets and business prospects.
