Emarat Tests Crypto Payments at 10 Fuel Stations

First, Emarat is a leading, well-known, state-owned petroleum company that operates over 155 service stations across the UAE. The company is, however, planning to improve customer experience in terms of customer service by using digital assets in payment through this collaboration. Crypto.com’s technology is expected to be incorporated into an initial array of 10 service stations.

In addition to this, both have embarked on a branding initiative called Project Landmark, reputed to be the world’s first project that has promulgated the availability of naming rights for fuel stations. Also, as part of this campaign, a new service station will be launched in Al Wasl Road, Crypto.com Emarat Service Station, situated at Emarat’s Al Ameen Station. This co-operation is presented as a token of future committed partnership, which will have both brands in the high-visibility places.

Crypto.com’s leadership believes that the UAE is a tough market for digital innovations. They noted that the country’s openness to the course of technological advancement and regulatory transparency facilitates the growth of crypto-based services. According to Crypto.com regional team, this partnership is an extension of their strategy aimed at increasing product offerings and utility in the Middle East.

Representatives of Crypto.com also said that one of their main aims is to enable the use of cryptocurrency in the real world. They consider this partnership a grand opportunity to bring crypto into daily life, in particular and with the help of a leading energy brand such as Emarat, which serves thousands of customers every day in the country.

Crypto Payments to Improve Fuel Station Efficiency in UAE

Meanwhile, Emarat officials have announced with enthusiasm about this partnership. They reportedly consider it to be a piece of the ever-growing attempts at developing new technologies and enhancing the customer’s experience. Emarat’s senior management noted that combining energy services with emerging financial ecosystems aligns with their long-term goals.

In addition to providing a new payment option, the partnership has exclusive benefits for the users. Special promotions and offers will be provided to both Crypto.com users and Emarat customers as part of their joint loyalty program. These are also expected to enhance customer satisfaction and attract more clients to embrace the new service.

In addition, the implementation of cryptocurrency payments should increase operational efficiency and payment flexibility. It also demonstrates the UAE as a regional leader in digital finance. As crypto adoption takes off in the world, this move places Emarat & Crypto.com at the forefront of innovation in the retail fuel industry.

Finally, the partnership of Emarat and Crypto.com is a step of great courage towards connecting old energy services with new technologies of finance. With the increased adoption of this model by the fuel stations, the use in the UAE is becoming a more modern, seamless, and inclusive way for paying for their daily fueling needs.
