Commission-free investing app Robinhood has added support for Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) staking in the US, according to a Thursday announcement.
The platform users can start with staking as little as $1, the announcement says.
The process of staking involves earning rewards by locking up tokens for validating transactions and securing the network.
It is worth noting that staking was already available for Robinhood’s European customers.
Last month, the popular brokerage revealed that it would allow its users to trade the tokenized versions of hundreds of US stocks and ETFs, pushing deeper into crypto.
