The drop is curated by the journalist and critic Giacomo Nicolella Maschietti, texts and concept are signed by Federico Bottino, author and communication expert, while Andrea Concas and Art Rights, an innovative Italian company and leader in the sector of digital arts and NFT, are supporting and promoting the project.
Emiliano Ponzi says:
“We are excited to participate in this new era of art, bringing to the crypto-community our artistic insight and interpretation of the NFT world. It is important to be there and to understand how much this new medium can allow us to express our idea of the world. We have created cores of emotion encapsulated in a few tens of seconds, where everyone can imagine themselves in the place of our characters and experience the manifestations of the world’s driving sentiment: love.
Being present in a hyper-digitalized world such as NFTs is also an exploration to answer the important cross-cutting question for artists and collectors: what is the unique piece? We can say that for me this is the beginning of a journey that I experience with enthusiasm and as an important point of origin”.
Three glimpses of lives, made up of waiting and slow movements, of people clinging to the sweet hope of reaching the lips of their beloved, before it is too late. Or too soon. The intensity of the gazes that cross and the attraction of mouths that brush against each other contribute to creating a mutual tension that catapults the thoughts and imagination of the viewer to moments of passion, uncertainty and hope. And it is in this ephemeral and inevitable wait that the illustrator succeeds in capturing the poetry of the bodies that are about to unite.
Emiliano Ponzi and Giuliano Sangiorgi take us on a journey along the wait for the kiss. Crossing with a glimpse of imagination three moments of sweet hope, three universal expectations that are opposed to the dramatic expectation of farewell. It is by experiencing this tension that fills space and time that people can experience moments of pure happiness. To then consume it in a kiss, experience a moment of happiness, filling the time and space that separates them from their desires.

#1 – “The moment is about to burst. Before you see a real explosion, you feel it in the air. It draws you in gently. You feel it happening. Suddenly, you realize that, for the first time, you are no longer afraid.” This work depicts the disruptive force of first encounters, first expectations, young hopes destined to burn. For a while or forever.”
