Musk Confirms SpaceX IPO Is Coming, Says He Won’t Do DOGE Again – BeInCrypto

Elon Musk has effectively confirmed that SpaceX will soon go public while expressing regret over his role leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

When space journalist Eric Berger posted his analysis titled “Here’s why I think SpaceX is going public soon,” Musk replied: “As usual, Eric is accurate.” Berger is widely regarded as the most reliable reporter covering SpaceX.

In a podcast interview released Tuesday with former DOGE spokeswoman Katie Miller, Musk said he would not participate in DOGE again. “I think instead of doing DOGE, I would’ve basically worked on my companies,” he said. “And they wouldn’t have been burning the cars” — referencing vandalism incidents at Tesla dealerships during his government tenure.

Musk described DOGE as only “a little bit successful” and “somewhat successful,” a notably modest assessment. He broke with President Trump in June after calling the administration’s tax bill “utterly insane and destructive.”

The simultaneous IPO confirmation and DOGE regret signal Musk’s pivot back to his business empire after a turbulent political chapter.
