HUMAIN and NVIDIA partner to establish AI factories in Saudi Arabia, enhancing the nation’s position as a global AI leader with advanced infrastructure and workforce transformation.
HUMAIN, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, has announced a significant strategic partnership with NVIDIA, a global leader in AI computing infrastructure, to propel the next stage of artificial intelligence development. The collaboration aims to establish Saudi Arabia as a global leader in AI, GPU cloud computing, and digital transformation, according to NVIDIA Newsroom.
Establishing AI Factories
Under the new partnership, HUMAIN will invest heavily in building AI factories in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These factories are projected to have a capacity of up to 500 megawatts, powered by hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA’s advanced GPUs over the upcoming five years. The initial phase will include deploying an 18,000 NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell AI supercomputer with NVIDIA InfiniBand networking.
These data centers will serve as secure foundational infrastructure for training and deploying sovereign AI models at a large scale, enabling industries across Saudi Arabia and globally to accelerate innovation and digital transformation.
NVIDIA Omniverse Deployment
HUMAIN plans to utilize the NVIDIA Omniverse platform as a multi-tenant system to hasten the new era of physical AI and robotics through simulation, optimization, and operation of physical environments. This initiative will allow industries such as manufacturing, logistics, and energy to create fully integrated digital twins, enhancing efficiency, safety, and sustainability while advancing Saudi Arabia’s journey toward Industry 4.0.
Workforce Transformation and Vision 2030
To support this transformation, HUMAIN and NVIDIA will focus on large-scale upskilling and training initiatives, offering thousands of Saudis hands-on experience in advanced AI, simulation, robotics, and digital twin technologies. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals of economic diversification and digital leadership.
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, emphasized the importance of AI as essential infrastructure, stating, “Together with HUMAIN, we are building AI infrastructure for the people and companies of Saudi Arabia to realize the bold vision of the Kingdom.”
His Excellency Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, highlighted the partnership’s significance, saying, “This collaboration with HUMAIN marks a turning point, building the AI factories of the future, unlocking compute and powering the next era of physical AI.”
Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, expressed confidence in the partnership, noting, “Together, we are building the capacity, capability, and a new globally enabled community to shape a future powered by intelligent technology and empowered people.”
