Sheila Warren to Step Down as CEO of CCI in January

Sheila Warren steps down as CEO of CCI, transitioning to President and Senior Global Policy Advisor, while Ji becomes CEO.

Sheila Warren, the current CEO of the Crypto Council for Innovation (CCI), will step down from her position in January after leading the organization for three years. Her leadership was at a time when the cryptocurrency industry was facing major challenges. These include major crashes and increased regulatory actions. Also, giants such as FTX rose and fell, making the situation even more complicated.

In a recent post on her official X account, Sheila Warren said that she is resigning from the position of the CEO of CCI. On this occassion, she has several feelings and emotions in her mind while thinking of a leader. She also stressed the fact that the construction of CCI has been developed from scratch during such a difficult period. “When the role was first taken on, it was a different era,” she said.

At that time, it was a relatively young industry, and regulatory problems had only begun to escalate. Under her stewardship, those barriers have been overcome. Consequently, the organization was able to build the necessary credentials and obtain recognition from policymakers across the world.

CCI Welcomes Ji as New CEO, Warren Shifts to Global Advisor Role

In the future, Warren will move to a new position, becoming the President and the Acting CEO of CCI in addition to the Senior Global Policy Advisor. This shift will enable continued support for the organization. “Looking forward to revealing more about what to expect in the coming year in January,” she added.

A new CEO Ji has been appointed to CCI and Warren was very confident that he would continue the tradition of the company. She highlighted Ji’s key role in building a strong foundation for CCI. Furthermore, she expressed confidence in his leadership. With Ji at the helm, the organization is expected to thrive. She said that a better person to build on this foundation cannot be found.

This year has been a great loss for CCI following the exit of Warren but she bears a positive attitude when it comes to the prospects of the organization and the entire industry. She plans to leverage the next chapter to do even more for the company, especially in the area of crypto. For Warren, this is not a farewell but the beginning of a new adventure.
