Strategy Acquires 245 Bitcoin for Million Amid Market Volatility

Strategy has added 245 more Bitcoin to its treasury, spending roughly $26 million as part of its ongoing accumulation plan amid renewed geopolitical instability.

A June 23rd SEC filing reveals the company acquired the Bitcoin at an average price of $105,856 per coin during the week ending June 22nd.

This latest purchase raises Strategy’s total holdings to 592,345 Bitcoin, acquired at an average price of $70,681, with a total cost basis of $41.87 billion.

The acquisition was financed through sales of preferred shares under Strategy’s ATM equity program—specifically, 166,566 shares of STRK for $17 million and 84,354 shares of STRF for $8.7 million.

Despite recent market turbulence following U.S. military action targeting Iranian nuclear infrastructure, Strategy continues to increase its position in Bitcoin.

This marks its tenth straight week of acquisitions. The firm reports a 19.2% year-to-date Bitcoin yield, edging closer to its 25% annual goal.
