The move brings the company’s total holdings to 601,550 Bitcoin as institutional interest in Bitcoin accelerates.
A filing dated July 14th reveals the purchase was made between July 7th and July 13th at an average price of $111,827 per Bitcoin.
Funding came from a combination of $330.9 million raised via common stock and another $141.4 million through preferred equity.
The institutional landscape has shifted notably, with companies such as Strategy holding 601,550 Bitcoin, Metaplanet holding 16,352 Bitcoin, and K33 recently surpassing 100 Bitcoin, marking a significant increase in corporate Bitcoin accumulation.
With Bitcoin trading around $120,000, Strategy’s holdings are currently valued at approximately $72 billion.
