ZachXBT reveals a crypto influencer who short-changed his 371,600 followers by trading against them. According to his investigative work, the trader sold three cryptocurrencies worth $1.2 million after shilling them.
Crypto sleuth ZachXBT asserts that a crypto influencer named KSI, most commonly known as the popular YouTuber before dabbling in crypto, has shilled at least three altcoins since 2021 before dumping them.

According to the on-chain detective, the crypto influencer sold P***Y, ERN, and XCAD within hours or days after promoting them. KSI sold $ 25,000 worth of P***Y, $349,000 worth of ERN, and $850,000 worth of XCAD. The investigator identified the influencer through posts of NFTs, the person’s OpenSea username, and an Honorary NFT.
He warned the X community of KSI after a recent post by the influencer and of his links ties to celebrity influencer Logan Paul. In 2022, ZachXBT exposed Paul for pump and dump schemes involving ELON, F**KELON, and EMAX tokens.

“Inb4 he starts sharing garbage again. Dumping your tokens on Logan Paul’s lapdog is permitted and encouraged,” ZachXBT tweeted.
How Reactions Affirmed ZachXBT’s Work
ZachXBT, whose first name is Zachary, has gained a reputable status for unveiling major crypto scams. His previous investigations have sometimes led to real-world responses that suggest high accuracy.
Following his exposure by ZachXBT, Paul became the defendant in a 2023 class action lawsuit that called him a fraud. Investors later accused Paul of a rug pull for endorsing the CryptoZoo NFT project that failed to materialize. In addition, YouTube sleuth Coffeezilla seconded ZachXBT’s work by releasing a three-part series exposing CryptoZoo as a scam.
In response to the failed CryptoZoo project, Logan promised to repay investors. The US Securities and Exchange Commission sued celebrity Kim Kardashian for promoting the same token that ZachXBT linked with Paul in 2022. Both outcomes highlight the accuracy of the detective’s work.
ZachXBT’s work also allegedly exposed the founder of a supposed NFT marketplace, Tyler Gaye, for fraudulently raising funds for an NFT marketplace. The detective identified Gaye through on-chain data and tweeting habits, following which investors sued the suspect for fraud.

In another investigation into the crypto projects of musicians and entrepreneur Jeffrey Huang, the crypto sleuth was slapped with a defamation lawsuit. The filing later led to a token fundraising exercise for ZachXBT’s legal defense, to which former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao committed $50,000, validating the detective’s work.
“Binance will contribute $50k. Keep up the fight. Keep the industry transparent,” Zhao wrote.
BeInCrypto reached out to KSI but did not hear back at press time.
