Three popular AI-powered chatbots were consulted to assess which cryptocurrency might perform better in Q4: Cardano's ADA or Pi Network's PI. All three unanimously favored ADA, though they highlighted different factors supporting their predictions.
Google's Gemini cited several advantages for ADA, including integration into major exchanges, deeper liquidity, and lower risk compared to PI. The chatbot attributed PI's weakness to constant token unlocks that create selling pressure. According to Gemini, "Whenever users get access to their free tokens, many immediately sell to cash out. This constant stream of selling creates strong downward pressure on price, making sustained upside difficult."
Gemini identified additional Q4 risks for PI, including rising transferable supply, thin liquidity, and weak demonstrated demand. The chatbot suggested that if newly unlocked PI tokens continue entering a market with only a few million dollars in daily trading volume, the token could weaken significantly.
Perplexity also backed ADA, pointing to its substantially larger market capitalization and a near-term catalyst: a planned network upgrade called the Dijkstra hard fork scheduled for December 2026. The upgrade aims to increase transaction throughput, potentially improving network utility and supporting demand for ADA.
ChatGPT agreed that ADA represents the stronger case for sustained performance but highlighted a potential catalyst for PI volatility. The Pi Ecosystem Summit, scheduled for November 17-19, will feature platform updates, developer-tool demonstrations, app showcases, and discussions between developers and the Core Team. ChatGPT noted that PI could benefit if the event leads to announcements of major ecosystem progress, merchant integrations, or partnerships.
In its assessment, ChatGPT characterized ADA as "the more convincing candidate for sustained Q4 performance" while describing PI as "the higher-risk contender for a sudden, catalyst-driven surge."
