Tech entrepreneur and angel investor Alessio Vinassa has announced the expansion of his investment framework focusing on the convergence of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. The updated approach applies risk-mitigation strategies derived from managing high-pressure financial turnarounds to emerging enterprise technologies.
Before investing across artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Web3, and innovative finance, Vinassa faced a severe financial challenge where approximately €180,000 was due while only about €2,200 remained in his bank account. This experience forced him to confront the consequences of pursuing growth without sufficient protection, diversification, or structural discipline.
With over fifteen years of operating and investment experience, Vinassa has backed more than 40 ventures. His current work reflects the growing convergence of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in the business sector. Vinassa notes that artificial intelligence alters how companies interpret information, automate work, and make decisions, which simultaneously introduces new forms of dependence.
Key elements of his evaluation approach include:

- Inspecting whether the company maintains the governance required to support expansion.
Vinassa emphasizes that artificial intelligence should serve to amplify executive judgment rather than replace it. Cybersecurity forms a foundational element of this trust, extending beyond network protection to include access controls, monitoring of automated actions, and system resilience.
Vinassa is further developing these leadership and governance concepts in his forthcoming book, No One Is Coming: The Mental Operating System for Leaders Under Pressure. He operates professionally between the United Arab Emirates and Europe.
