MONTEVIDEO, Uruguay — Full-stack Ethereum infrastructure project Aligned has launched $ALIGN, the native token of its ecosystem, with listings on major exchanges. The project is designed to provide fintechs, institutions, and enterprises with a single integration for wallets, rollups, interoperability, and zero-knowledge services on Ethereum.
Aligned was built in collaboration with LambdaClass, which has contributed to ecosystems including Starknet, zkSync, Polygon Miden, EigenCloud, Ethrex, and lambdaworks. The platform aims to address fragmentation in blockchain development, where teams often rely on multiple vendors and spend months integrating various infrastructure components.
Token Details and Utility
$ALIGN functions as a utility token with a fixed total supply of 10 billion tokens, with approximately 16% circulating at launch. The ERC-20 token is also available on Base. According to the project, $ALIGN will serve as an option to pay for services across the Aligned stack, such as Proof Aggregation and Wallet-as-a-Service. The token does not represent equity, shares, claims on revenue or dividends, and does not promise yields or prices.
The tokenomics include a Genesis airdrop distributed across several waves. Recipients include developers, researchers, Discord and Galxe community members, Ethereum and ZK contributors such as Protocol Guild, L2BEAT, ZachXBT, and ZK Podcast, as well as holders of various ecosystem tokens including Starknet, Mina, zkSync, Polygon, Scroll, Taiko, and EigenCloud.
Stack Development Status
Aligned is releasing its infrastructure stack sequentially:
- Proof Aggregation Service: Live on mainnet alpha to batch rollup proofs and keep verification costs low.
- Wallet-as-a-Service: Minimum viable product (MVP) launched, allowing users to sign in with Google or Face ID to obtain an Ethereum wallet without seed phrases, extensions, or gas fees.
- Rollup-as-a-Service, LambdaVM, and Interoperability Protocol: Currently in development. The LambdaVM is a RISC-V zero-knowledge virtual machine built with LambdaClass and 3MI Labs.
For the remainder of the year, the Aligned team plans to deliver the remaining components of the stack and expand product adoption on the network.
