Analyst Flags XRP, QNT, and INJ as Potential Breakout Candidates

Ripple's XRP, Quant (QNT), and Injective (INJ) are among the altcoins drawing attention from analysts as potential breakout candidates. At the time of analysis, XRP was trading just below $1.50, QNT at $255, and INJ at $7.50.

Popular analyst Ali Martinez outlined technical patterns he believes could signal significant moves for these three tokens in the near term, though market conditions have already begun to test his thesis.

XRP and Resistance Levels

Martinez indicated that XRP appeared to have broken above a descending resistance line on the four-hour chart. He outlined $1.62 as a potential target if the token can maintain $1.50 as support. However, XRP was rejected at $1.53 and has since dipped below $1.50, a level that could invalidate the bullish scenario if closed decisively.

Another analyst, CryptoQuant's CW, noted that despite the short-term pullback, positive indicators remain intact, with the price reclaiming the Point of Control and maintaining a bullish trend structure.

QNT's Explosive Move and Correction

Quant's token experienced a substantial rally following major banking adoption news, surging from $59 to $370 at its peak—a 530% increase—before correcting to its current $255 level. Martinez predicted that an hourly close above $262 would confirm the breakout pattern, with potential targets at $315 and $344. Prior to the recent correction, he had suggested that a break above $430 could target $2,000.

INJ's Cup-and-Handle Formation

Injective has shown several legs higher since mid-August, when it struggled near $4.00 before rallying to $6.00 during a market-wide revival. After retracing to $4.60, it surged twice in September and reached $8.50 for the first time in nearly a year. It has since pulled back to $7.50.

Martinez identified a cup-and-handle formation with a neckline at $7.33. If this level holds, the pattern could point toward $13.40, though the token has remained relatively flat recently.

Broader Market Pressure

The outlook for these three altcoins faces headwinds from broader market conditions. Bitcoin and most altcoins attempted a breakout on Sunday evening but were rejected on Monday, with bitcoin sliding from $87,000 to $85,000. The total cryptocurrency market cap declined by approximately $50 billion since the previous morning, creating uncertainty around whether these altcoins can achieve the breakout targets outlined by analysts.
