Prominent on-chain analyst Willy Woo has stated there is a high probability that Bitcoin has already reached its market bottom. Woo assigned a 90% chance that the low has already occurred and that bulls could be regrouping for an eventual long-term advance. Bitcoin was trading around $76,000 at the time of analysis.
Woo noted that Bitcoin is already operating within an early bull market structure, driven by liquidity inflows and steady buying pressure. The analyst, who has built a reputation on analyzing on-chain metrics and data, has successfully predicted previous market bottoms and tops.
Departing from the 4-Year Cycle
Woo's current assessment represents a departure from the conventional cryptocurrency market cycle theory. The traditional 4-year cycle suggests a market bottom would form in the fourth quarter of 2026. However, Woo argues that this legacy pattern may no longer apply, citing Bitcoin's significant deviations from the cycle over the past 2-3 years.
The Incoming Bull Market
Woo stopped short of predicting the duration of the next bull market but suggested that investor flows will determine its length. According to his analysis, if cryptocurrency can maintain investor confidence for 2-3 years, a multi-year advance could unfold, similar to the pattern of a previous bull market.
An asset like Bitcoin typically stabilizes after a period of capitulation by finding strong support and holding it while showing improvement despite bearish conditions. While Woo has predicted an early bullish setup, he acknowledged room for a price pullback to previous levels before a clear bullish pattern can be confirmed.
Bitcoin was down 3% following the rejection of the CLARITY Act by the US Senate.
