A wallet associated with Andrew Tate transferred 20,950 HYPE tokens worth approximately $1.87 million to Binance on October 2, according to onchain tracking data. The move represents a partial exit from a $550,000 position established in late November 2024.
The wallet purchased 122,826.9 HYPE on November 29, 2024, at an average price of $4.48 per token. Within 48 hours, roughly one-third of the position was sold at approximately $7.25 per token, recovering more than half the initial cost. The remaining holdings were staked on the Hyperliquid protocol.
At the time of reporting, HYPE traded near $88, reflecting a roughly 20-fold increase from the entry price. According to onchain tracker Lookonchain, the total profit on the position reached $7.24 million, representing a 1,317% return. The wallet still holds approximately 42,417 HYPE tokens valued at around $3.7 million.
Leveraged Trading Record
The substantial gain from a spot position contrasts markedly with Tate's record as a leveraged trader. In November 2025, his Hyperliquid perpetuals account was liquidated while holding a balance exceeding $727,000, triggered when bitcoin's price declined below $90,000. This marked the 84th liquidation on record for the account.
By June 2026, Lookonchain documented 107 total liquidations across the account. A single leveraged position on 57.36 BTC resulted in a $95,478 loss when bitcoin traded around $65,257. Arkham Intelligence recorded eight liquidations occurring within a 24-hour period that same month.
