The Arbitrum (ARB) token has climbed 90% from its June record low, with the recent rally accelerating after Robinhood Chain fees reached an all-time high of $4.45 million on September 2. According to market data, ARB trades near $0.1316 following a weekly gain of 50%.
Between August 31 and September 1, the Robinhood Chain generated over $10 million in fees, marking a 109% increase across sessions. Through most of August, daily fees remained below $400,000, placing the current pace more than 10 times above previous peaks. Robinhood launched the network on Arbitrum in July, with Uniswap routing the majority of its trading volume.
Under the Arbitrum Expansion Program, Orbit chains return 8% of revenue to the ArbitrumDAO and 2% to a developer guild. Applying that 8% share indicates roughly $320,000 reached the DAO on September 2 alone. In comparison, the older Arbitrum One network processed 1.94 million transactions over 24 hours while collecting just 5.8 ether in fees, worth approximately $14,000. This meant the Robinhood Chain out-earned Arbitrum One by about 320 times on September 2, matching Arbitrum One's entire daily fee income in under five minutes.
Despite the high transaction activity, capital has lagged behind. Total value locked on Arbitrum sits near $1.37 billion, remaining well below its October peak above $4 billion. The Arbitrum Foundation previously reported $6.19 million in total income for the first half of 2026, a figure the Robinhood Chain's September 2 pace could match in roughly 19 days.
Technical Outlook and Upcoming Catalysts
ARB trades around $0.132 after pulling back from a recent high near $0.145. The first major resistance level sits around $0.140 to $0.145, where a clean break could open a path toward $0.150. On the downside, nearest support rests near $0.125 to $0.127 close to the 20-period exponential moving average, with stronger support located around $0.110 to $0.114.
Technical indicators show the shorter moving averages remaining above the longer ones, while the Relative Strength Index has cooled to around 62 after entering overbought territory. However, the rally faces upcoming tests in September, including an unlock of approximately 92.6 million ARB on September 16 and the expiration of Robinhood's 90-day gas subsidy later in the month. Whether fee growth can sustain itself past the subsidy expiration remains a key factor for the token's price trajectory.
