The AvengerDAO Security Marketplace has grown to 17 vetted security firms, up from 11 at its August 12, 2026 launch. Six new providers joined the roster by October 2026.
The marketplace connects BNB Chain developers with pre-screened security firms without requiring an advance application. Projects can engage directly with listed providers and access integrated bug bounty support, which compensates external researchers for identifying vulnerabilities.
Security Standard and Historical Context
AvengerDAO introduced the BNB-SS security standard alongside the marketplace, built around five pillars including governance and oracle integrations. Governance determines how protocols make decisions, while oracles serve as data feeds that bring external information like asset prices onto the blockchain.
AvengerDAO itself launched on September 20, 2022, as part of BNB Chain's broader security initiative. Early partners included CertiK, SlowMist, and PancakeSwap. In 2025 alone, AvengerDAO's risk APIs issued 38 million warnings.
Documented Security Improvements
BNB Chain's security losses have declined for three consecutive years. Losses fell 85% in 2023, 69% in 2024, and 56% in 2025.
Implications for Builders
The expanded roster of 17 firms provides developers with greater choice in finding auditors that match their needs for specialty, availability, and pricing. The removal of application requirements lowers barriers for smaller teams seeking security services.
