BeInCrypto has announced a partnership with the Government Blockchain Association (GBA) for The Future of Money, Governance, and the Law (FoMGL), a summit scheduled for September 29 to October 2, 2026, spanning Washington, D.C. and New York. The event will mark the public launch of BeInCrypto's Legal & Regulatory Expert Council, with the debut taking place at the United Nations Headquarters during the New York programme.
The summit will begin with discussions on Capitol Hill involving U.S. policymakers, followed by a full-day program at the National Press Club addressing the impact of artificial intelligence, blockchain, and quantum computing on financial services, including digital assets, tokenization, and regulatory frameworks. The Washington portion will conclude with an evening reception at a historic Georgian mansion.
The New York leg will continue with the FinTech Summit at the UN venue. Confirmed speakers include representatives from the UN Joint Staff Pension Fund, the U.S. Treasury, the Internal Revenue Service, the Securities and Exchange Commission Crypto Task Force, the World Bank, and major cryptocurrency companies including Ripple, Circle, and Coinbase. Notable figures from the blockchain industry are also scheduled to participate.
The GBA operates across more than 500 government offices worldwide through over 50 working groups. The organization has developed the Blockchain Maturity Model, a framework for assessing the maturity, integrity, and trustworthiness of blockchain solutions, which is recognized by the United Nations Internet Governance Forum.
BeInCrypto's Legal & Regulatory Expert Council will focus on how digital asset businesses navigate across different markets, including jurisdictional selection, regulatory compliance, tax implications, and cross-border requirements. BeInCrypto's Global Head of News, Brian McGleenon, will moderate a panel on global crypto regulation during the event.
