Binance has added five currencies to its fiat withdrawal options: the US dollar, the UAE dirham, the Vietnamese dong, the Philippine peso and the Indonesian rupiah.
The exchange announced the expansion through its official X account on November 2, 2026, at 08:00 UTC. The new additions join an existing lineup that already exceeded 20 withdrawal currencies, including the euro and the Japanese yen.
What Binance added
Users holding balances on Binance can now convert them into USD, AED, VND, PHP or IDR and move the funds out of the exchange.
Withdrawals on Binance typically route funds from user balances through bank transfers or peer-to-peer solutions. In P2P, users trade directly with one another, with the exchange acting as an intermediary rather than the counterparty. Binance has historically relied on a mix of licensed payment providers and transfer methods such as SWIFT alongside P2P options to support its fiat currencies.
Fees and limits not disclosed
Binance did not publish specific fees or withdrawal limits for the new currencies. Users are being directed to the exchange's official channels for those details.
Timing follows crypto withdrawal restoration
The fiat expansion landed one day after Binance completed a phased restoration of crypto asset withdrawals across 15 networks. Those withdrawals had been temporarily suspended while the exchange conducted security reviews. In roughly 48 hours, Binance went from pausing certain crypto exits to reopening them and then adding new fiat exits.
Binance's approach to fiat support has been described as incremental, adding currencies a handful at a time rather than enabling everything at once. This latest batch follows that pattern, with five currencies arriving in a single announcement.
Geographic reach
The US dollar covers North America and remains a default unit of account for much of global finance, including crypto. The dirham points to the Middle East, while the dong, peso and rupiah cover three Southeast Asian markets.
That geographic spread aligns with what the research describes as high-volume areas for the exchange: North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
Potential market effect
The research suggests the expansion could lead to more trading activity on Binance, as easier withdrawals lower the friction of participating. Higher trading volumes, if they materialize, could in turn support greater liquidity on the exchange.
Without published fees or limits, it is difficult to judge how competitive the new routes will be against existing local options. There is no independent analysis yet tying this specific announcement to price outcomes.
