Binance has launched Hyperliquid (HYPE) on its spot market with the Seed tag, effective September 24 at 11:00 UTC. The listing provides traders access to three new spot trading pairs: HYPE/USDT, HYPE/USDC, and HYPE/TRY.
Users can deposit HYPE one hour before spot trading begins. Withdrawals are scheduled to start on September 25 at 11:00 UTC, though Binance noted this timing is approximate. The listing fee is zero BNB, and Spot Algo Orders will be available during trading hours. Trading Bots and Spot Copy Trading features will become available within 24 hours of launch.
The HYPE/TRY pair is restricted to Binance TR users only, as TRY represents the Turkish Lira. Additionally, the new pairs will not be available to users in the United States, Canada, Iran, Netherlands, and certain other jurisdictions.
Higher-Risk Classification
Binance has designated HYPE with the Seed tag, classifying it as a relatively new token with higher than normal risk. The exchange cautioned that the token's price will likely be subject to high price volatility and advised traders to manage risk and conduct their own research before trading.
The Seed tag requires eligible users to complete risk-awareness quizzes every 90 days for trading on Binance Spot and Binance Margin (where applicable). Traders must also comply with Binance's terms and conditions. Binance stated the Seed Tag is intended to identify projects that may present more volatility and risk than other listed tokens.
Eligibility for trading depends on geographic location, and Binance noted that its list of restricted jurisdictions may be updated in response to legal and regulatory changes.
