Binance has announced the closure of its Pool mining service, effective November 10, 2026, at 07:00 UTC. The discontinuation will include Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and related features.
Following the shutdown date, all mining connectivity and mining share submissions through Binance Pool will terminate. The company will also discontinue Pool Savings, Cloud Hashrate, Transaction Acceleration, and mining pool API services.
Miners Face Migration Requirements
The closure does not signal an end to Bitcoin mining operations overall. Affected miners can redirect their computing power to alternative mining pools operated by competing companies. Miners typically join pools to combine computational resources and receive more consistent payouts.
Limited Near-Term Price Impact Expected
Analysts suggest the immediate impact on Bitcoin prices may remain contained if miners successfully transition to other pools and maintain their operations. Since the announcement, miner activity has shown minimal disruption, with only slight increases in miner outflows and no significant behavioral shifts.
The shutdown will likely result in a redistribution of hashrate among existing pools rather than a net loss of mining power. However, switching delays could cause temporary hardware idle time and reduced miner profitability. Financial pressure on miners could potentially trigger Bitcoin sales if migration challenges intensify.
At the time of the announcement, Bitcoin recorded a 0.05% decline while Binance's native token BNB fell 1.48%.
