Bitcoin miners using Binance Pool have until November 10 to move their operations. Binance announced on October 13 that its mining pool, along with several related products, will cease operating at 07:00 UTC on that date.
The closure extends beyond the pool's basic block-reward service. Binance is also discontinuing Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, its Transaction Accelerator, and supporting features such as mining pool APIs and hashrate alerts.
Operational steps for miners
Miners must reconfigure machines currently pointed at Binance's mining endpoints to another pool before the cutoff. After the deadline, Binance Pool will no longer accept or credit new shares and hashrate submissions.
Users also need to address active savings positions and ensure their accounts can receive any outstanding rewards or refunds. Eligible balances will be handled under the relevant product terms and compliance requirements, rather than disappearing automatically at shutdown.
Scope of the decision
Binance described the move as part of an ongoing product review. The closure notice does not establish that a specific hashrate decline caused the decision.
The announcement does not affect Binance's Bitcoin exchange or spot trading operations. It represents an exit from one part of the mining-services business, with immediate operational consequences for miners who still rely on the pool.
