US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds brought in $232.1 million in net inflows on Wednesday, marking a slowdown from the previous session while extending a winning streak to eight trading days.
According to SoSoValue data, the latest daily inflow decreased by roughly 26% compared to Tuesday's $314.4 million, representing the smallest daily total recorded since August 18. This eight-session sequence has accumulated approximately $2.8 billion, which helps reduce year-to-date net outflows to about $2.03 billion. Total cumulative net inflows have climbed to $54.6 billion, with total net assets reaching $98.6 billion.
The deceleration in ETF inflows coincided with a pause in Bitcoin's price movement after it briefly surpassed $80,000 on Tuesday. CoinGecko data indicated that Bitcoin was trading around $78,759, down 0.3% over a 24-hour period.
Despite the stalling price action for Bitcoin, broader crypto market sentiment saw an improvement. Data from Alternative.me showed that the Crypto Fear and Greed Index climbed from 65 to 71, staying firmly within the "Greed" category.
In the broader altcoin fund sector, US spot Ether ETFs also maintained an eight-day consecutive inflow streak by securing $192.4 million on Wednesday. Meanwhile, US-listed spot XRP ETFs drew $28.1 million, marking their largest daily inflow since January 5 and bringing cumulative net inflows to $1.62 billion.
