US spot Bitcoin ETFs took in approximately $110.3 million in net inflows on October 26, while spot Ethereum ETFs moved in the opposite direction, shedding $88.6 million on the same day.
BlackRock's IBIT led the Bitcoin inflows, while BlackRock's ETHA drove the largest exits from Ethereum funds. The contrasting flows highlight how the same asset manager directed capital in opposite directions across the two product categories.
Bitcoin ETFs Show Resilience
The Bitcoin inflow marked a notable rebound after a period of redemptions. During the week ending around October 23 to 24, Bitcoin ETFs posted net inflows of $301 million despite roughly $774 million in redemptions late in the week, demonstrating that early-week buying absorbed the selling pressure.
Ethereum Funds Face Sustained Pressure
October proved significantly more challenging for spot Ethereum ETFs, with total monthly outflows exceeding $1.1 billion—the largest monthly withdrawal these products have experienced this year.
Cumulative Performance and Asset Scale
Since launch, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated more than $57 billion in cumulative net inflows and hold approximately 1.28 to 1.3 million BTC. Total assets across Bitcoin funds stand at approximately $102 to $104 billion.
Spot Ethereum ETFs have drawn roughly $12.6 to $12.7 billion in cumulative net inflows, with holdings of approximately 5.9 to 6.3 million ETH. Total Ether fund assets reach around $14.5 to $14.6 billion—a significant amount but less than one-quarter of Bitcoin fund assets.
Major providers including BlackRock, Fidelity, and Grayscale offer products in both categories.
