U.S. crypto ETFs showed signs of recovery on Tuesday as bitcoin funds attracted $175.62 million in inflows, reversing the previous day's $65.40 million outflow. Fidelity's FBTC led the inflows with $103.06 million, followed by Blackrock's IBIT with $65.89 million and Morgan Stanley's MSBT with $6.67 million.
Bitcoin ETF trading volume reached $1.65 billion, with net assets climbing to $106.98 billion. The positive flow marks a significant shift after bitcoin funds lost approximately $681 million during the five sessions ending Monday, suggesting institutional investors are rebuilding exposure rather than reacting to short-term price movements.
Ether Breaks Losing Streak
Ether ETFs delivered their first positive session in 10 days, attracting $24.84 million in inflows. Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust received $16.73 million while Fidelity's FETH added $8.11 million. Ether ETF trading volume totaled $521.08 million with net assets at $15.83 billion.
The shift in direction is significant given that ether has been the largest source of sustained institutional selling in recent weeks. However, Tuesday's inflow was modest compared to the hundreds of millions that exited ether products during the preceding streak.
Mixed Performance Across Altcoin Sector
The recovery did not extend uniformly across crypto ETFs. Solana ETFs lost $1.04 million through Bitwise's BSOL, extending outflows to seven consecutive sessions with net assets falling to $1.71 billion. This continues a reversal after solana's 14-week streak of positive weekly flows ended the previous week.
Zcash ETFs also remained weak, with Grayscale's ZCSH recording a $5.19 million outflow and net assets declining to $677.30 million. HYPE and XRP ETFs recorded no net flows.
NEAR ETFs bucked the broader altcoin trend, with Bitwise's NRR attracting $3.93 million and lifting the fund's net assets to $79.17 million.
Analysts noted that sustained inflows across bitcoin and ether in coming sessions would provide stronger evidence of broader institutional stabilization after an extended period of defensive positioning.
