Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $924.48 million in net inflows over the week, extending a strong period for crypto asset investment despite a reversal on Friday.
Bitcoin ETF inflows totaled $337.56 million on Monday, $314.37 million on Tuesday, $232.12 million on Wednesday, and $242.24 million on Thursday. The streak of consecutive days with net inflows was interrupted Friday when $201.81 million flowed out of the funds, coinciding with hawkish remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh at Jackson Hole.
The weekly total represented solid gains for the funds, which have attracted nearly $3 billion in net inflows over the past two weeks. Cumulative net inflows rose from $52.8 billion on August 14 to $54.63 billion on August 28.
Ethereum ETFs Maintain Unbroken Positive Streak
Spot Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded $824 million in weekly net inflows, extending a streak of positive days that began August 11. Friday saw $115.57 million flow into the Ethereum funds, joining inflows of $192.35 million on Wednesday and $179.80 million on Thursday. Thursday marked the strongest day with $234.51 million in inflows.
Ethereum ETF cumulative net inflows increased from $11.44 billion on August 11 to nearly $13 billion on August 28, reflecting sustained investor interest in the funds.
