Bitcoin exchange-traded funds are sustaining investor interest, with six consecutive days of inflows totaling over $2.8 billion since September 17, according to Farside Investors data. The funds are managed by major financial firms including BlackRock, Fidelity, and Morgan Stanley.

Monday's trading saw nearly $1 billion in new investment—the largest single-day inflow since October 6, when the funds received over $1.2 billion as Bitcoin's price reached $126,080.

Bitcoin's price has moderated from its intraweek peak, recently trading near $83,975 after reaching $87,330 on Monday. Over the past seven days, the cryptocurrency has gained approximately 4%.

A significant milestone emerged this week: Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart noted that the average Bitcoin ETF buyer is now in profit, following an estimated cost basis surge above $81,720—the highest level since January.

The renewed investor appetite for Bitcoin follows multiple developments. In August, the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced plans to at least double the size of its liquidity-support buyback operations, a move that initially pushed 30-year Treasury yields lower and weakened the dollar. Bitcoin's price rallied in response, though Treasury yields have since climbed again.

Bitcoin has continued its momentum despite legislative and monetary headwinds. Lawmakers blocked the Clarity Act, landmark crypto legislation, and the Federal Reserve raised interest rates—developments that failed to derail the asset's recent gains.

Data from crypto market firm CryptoQuant indicates the cryptocurrency crossed above its 365-day moving average this week, a technical signal suggesting the asset has exited its bear market phase.

Bitcoin reached its previous all-time high of $126,080 in October but faced a sharp decline later that month following the largest liquidation event in crypto history, which saw over $19 billion in bets closed. The recent recovery has been supported by renewed interest in the debasement trade—a strategy where investors allocate capital to assets expected to hedge against currency depreciation—as the U.S. dollar has weakened.
