Bitcoin ETFs posted $282.56 million in net outflows on Thursday, extending their losing streak to three consecutive sessions as bitcoin traded near $77,000. The broader crypto ETF market showed weakness, with Ether and Solana funds also recording outflows, though XRP ETFs bucked the trend with fresh inflows.
Bitcoin ETF Redemptions Intensify
Redemptions spread across nearly every major bitcoin ETF issuer on Thursday. Ark & 21Shares' ARKB led the exits with $164.32 million in outflows, followed by Grayscale's GBTC with $36.38 million and Fidelity's FBTC with $33.55 million. Blackrock's IBIT lost $24.46 million, Vaneck's HODL shed $15.27 million, and Bitwise's BITB recorded a $12.56 million outflow. Morgan Stanley's MSBT provided a modest offset with $3.98 million in inflows.
For the week, bitcoin ETF outflows have reached $449.44 million with one trading session remaining. Daily trading value in bitcoin ETFs reached $1.70 billion, while total net assets fell to $97.49 billion.
Ether and Solana Funds Slide Into Negative Territory
Ether ETFs recorded $29.76 million in net outflows Thursday. Fidelity's FETH led with $25.15 million in redemptions, while Blackrock's ETHA lost $18.59 million and Grayscale's ETHE shed $7.72 million. Some inflows occurred through Blackrock's ETHB, which attracted $13.95 million, and Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust with $7.75 million. Ether ETF net assets closed at $15.60 billion.
Solana ETFs posted a smaller $482,550 outflow. Fidelity's FSOL brought in $888,410, but a $1.37 million exit from Bitwise's BSOL pushed the category into negative territory. Net assets in Solana ETFs finished at $1.39 billion.
XRP ETFs Show Resilience
XRP ETFs were the only category to attract fresh capital, adding $5.14 million on Thursday. All inflows went into Franklin's XRPZ. XRP ETF net assets stood at $1.45 billion with daily trading value at $25.63 million.
The steady demand for XRP ETFs contrasts with broader market softness, particularly as XRP's price declined approximately 7% over the past seven days.
