Bitcoin Eyes $92,000-$97,000 If Support Holds Above $81,000

Bitcoin could advance toward $92,000 or $97,000 if it maintains support in the $81,600 to $82,937 zone, according to technical analysis. The uptrend that began in July remains intact, though the bounce pattern suggests caution.

Bitcoin Eyes $92,000-$97,000 If Support Holds Above $81,000

Bitcoin could rally toward $92,000 or even $97,000, but only if it holds support above $81,000, according to technical analysis. An analyst tracking the market says the uptrend that began in July remains intact.

Three Technical Signals Supporting Higher Prices

The analysis points to three factors suggesting the outlook remains positive:

  • Bitcoin continues to trade above its May high near $82,800
  • A monthly close above the 50-week simple moving average has historically marked the start of bull markets
  • The downtrend that began in October 2025 ended when Bitcoin broke above its last major high, with the chart showing a steady progression of higher highs and higher lows since the July low

Critical Support Zone

The key area is between $81,600 and $82,937. As long as Bitcoin remains above this zone, the path to higher prices stays open.

If this support breaks, the next levels to watch are $78,200, where the 50-week moving average currently sits, followed by $75,000.

What Would Confirm Further Gains

Bitcoin would need to break above its October 2 high to signal the next leg up has started. Currently, there is no clear confirmation of this move. The bounce from the September 28 low came in three steps, a pattern typically associated with weak recoveries. Bitcoin is trading in a range without a clear trend.

Longer-Term Perspective

The analyst has not called a top at any point in the current rally and considers one more high very likely. The short-term trend that began on September 16 remains unbroken.

Once a top forms, pullback support is expected between $63,326 and $74,800. This could establish a higher low before the next advance toward all-time highs.

Low Volatility May Precede Major Move

Volatility is currently low. Historically, calm periods have preceded significant moves, as occurred in July when Bitcoin drifted sideways for four weeks before rallying.
