Bitcoin Eyes $94K Recovery as $80K Support Zone Attracts Major Buyers

Bitcoin Eyes $94K Recovery as $80K Support Zone Attracts Major Buyers

Bitcoin may be forming a local bottom around $80,000, with the $79,000 to $81,000 range emerging as a major accumulation zone. Analysts suggest the asset could recover from its recent correction and move toward $94,000 if key support levels hold.

Bitcoin's drop from $88,000 to around $80,000 is being characterized as a correction within a broader bull market rather than the beginning of a new bear market. The current price range appears significant because Bitcoin treasury companies and spot ETF investors have average entry prices around $80,000 to $81,500, potentially making this zone important for market stability.

Market data shows renewed spot buying activity near $80,000 and a slowdown in profit-taking. Longer-term holders who accumulated Bitcoin between $60,000 and $70,000 are showing little willingness to sell their holdings, suggesting that selling pressure is easing.

Retail and institutional behavior diverges sharply at current levels. Most retail traders appear extremely bearish, yet this negative sentiment could support a recovery if selling pressure fades and buyers regain control. The Crypto Fear and Greed Index currently stands at 54, though analysts note this may not fully reflect the fear among retail traders who have sold during the recent decline.

Exchange flow data reveals another divergence between market participants. Retail Bitcoin inflows to Binance have reached a six-month high, rising from $5.5 billion to $10.75 billion on a 30-day basis. Large holder deposits, however, have moved in the opposite direction, falling from $5.9 billion at the end of August to $3.8 billion. This suggests that whales are not rushing to move their Bitcoin onto exchanges where it could be sold.

A daily close above Bitcoin's 50-day exponential moving average would provide a positive signal for further upside, according to technical analysis.
