On prediction markets, Polymarket traders assigned a 39% implied probability that bitcoin will touch the $100,000 threshold before 2027. Additional Polymarket data indicated a 73% chance of touching $90,000 and 54% odds of reaching $95,000, backed by more than $72.6 million in volume. However, the same market assigned a 31% probability to a drop to $70,000 and lower odds for deeper declines.
Meanwhile, Kalshi's year-end forecast stood at $86,240 with approximately $39.5 million in volume. Kalshi contracts focus specifically on the closing price determined by the CF Benchmarks Bitcoin Real Time Index during the final minute before midnight.
Artificial intelligence models also weighed in with specific end-of-year figures. Claude Opus 5.5 projected a year-end price of $91,500, citing factors such as recovering ETF inflows, miner margins, and macroeconomic conditions. ChatGPT-6 Astra offered a higher target of $94,000.
The latest forecasts reflect a generally cautious sentiment across the market following bitcoin's retreat from previous peaks, with both human bettors and automated models pointing to moderate potential gains without calling for extreme rallies.
