BitFuFu (NASDAQ: FUFU) ended August 2026 with 1,373 BTC in its corporate treasury following a net addition of 59 BTC during the month, valued at roughly $109 million at prevailing market prices.
The company produced 174 BTC in August, averaging 5.6 BTC per day. Production split nearly evenly between self-mining, which generated 88 BTC that BitFuFu retains, and cloud mining services, which produced 86 BTC for clients who pay for hashrate and receive the rewards.
Operational Metrics
BitFuFu's managed hashrate reached 20.6 EH/s in August, representing a 45% month-over-month increase. Of that total, 3.8 EH/s came from self-owned mining assets, with the remainder from managed or cloud-hosted equipment. The company reported fleet efficiency of 16.7 joules per terahash and power capacity across its facilities of 344 MW.
Treasury Volatility
The August accumulation reverses a recent drawdown in Bitcoin holdings. BitFuFu's treasury peaked at 1,855 BTC in May 2026 before declining to 1,314 BTC by the end of July, a reduction of more than 500 BTC over approximately two months. The current holdings remain below the May peak.
Business Background
BitFuFu was founded in 2020 and went public through a SPAC merger completed in March 2024, listing on Nasdaq under ticker FUFU. The company operates both cloud mining services and its own mining operations, creating a revenue model that does not depend entirely on Bitcoin's spot price. Cloud mining clients pay upfront for hashrate, providing cash flow independent of Bitcoin's daily trading value.
