Bitmine has expanded its Ethereum position to 5.93 million ETH, valued at approximately $14.8 billion as of September 7. The latest purchase of 28,086 ETH continues the company's weekly acquisition strategy launched on June 30, 2025, bringing its holdings to nearly 5% of Ethereum's estimated 122 million token supply.
In addition to its Ethereum holdings, Bitmine maintains 211 bitcoin and approximately $593 million in cash and marketable securities, bringing total crypto, cash, and other investments to near $15.7 billion.
Staking Strategy Generates Significant Revenue
Bitmine has staked 5,067,309 ETH, representing 85% of its total holdings. At current yield levels, this staked position generates annualized revenue of roughly $330 million. If the company eventually stakes its full Ethereum position through its MAVAN platform and staking partners, annualized rewards could reach approximately $386 million based on an estimated 2.61% yield.
Market Position and Concentration
Bitmine's scale makes its Ethereum accumulation strategy notable among public companies. The company now holds one of the largest concentrated Ethereum positions in public markets, meaning significant price movements in ETH could substantially amplify or reduce the value of Bitmine's treasury in both directions.
The company also holds 211 bitcoin and maintains cash and marketable securities as part of its diversified balance sheet strategy.
