Bitrue, a cryptocurrency exchange founded in 2018, is marking its eighth anniversary by highlighting its early commitment to XRP as foundational infrastructure rather than a secondary listing—a structural choice that has shaped the platform's development across nearly a decade of operations.
When Bitrue launched, positioning XRP as a base trading pair was unconventional. Most exchanges listed XRP as a lower-priority asset, but Bitrue made the opposite choice. This early positioning influenced the platform's product development, liquidity allocation, and user base. XRP has since become one of the world's most actively traded digital assets, and the XRP Ledger has expanded into institutional use cases, including property title registration through Dubai's Land Department.
Bitrue operates an XRPL validator and offers over 100 XRP trading pairs with spot and futures trading depth, positioning itself as a comprehensive XRP trading environment.
Expanding Access to Institutional-Grade Assets
The platform has built infrastructure around tokenized assets, making previously restricted financial instruments available to retail traders globally on a 24/7 basis. Bitrue offers tokenized stocks including Tesla, Apple, and NVIDIA, as well as 3x leveraged tokenized stock tokens. The exchange also provides tokenized real-world asset futures contracts, giving retail traders access to derivatives that were historically available only through institutional channels.
Introducing Explainable AI for Trading
For its anniversary milestone, Bitrue is introducing Bitrue AI, an AI-powered trading tool available free during Early Access. The platform distinguishes itself by providing explainable reasoning alongside recommendations—showing traders the market conditions, signals, and logic behind each suggestion rather than operating as a black box.
The tool offers eight real-time strategies across three risk profiles: Aggressive, Growth, and Stable. Strategies are continuously refreshed against live market data and support key futures markets including XRP.
The exchange reports serving 40 million users and operates additional products including staking and launchpool opportunities.
