Cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds continued an eight-session inflow streak on Wednesday, driven by fresh capital allocations into bitcoin, ether, and select altcoin funds. Combined net inflows for bitcoin and ether reached $424 million, with broader market demand extending to XRP, HYPE, and solana funds.
Bitcoin ETFs Approach $100 Billion in Assets
Bitcoin exchange-traded funds pulled in $232.12 million in net inflows during the session, pushing total combined net assets to $98.63 billion. Blackrock's IBIT led the contributions by bringing in $200.76 million. Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust added $46.83 million, Fidelity's FBTC gained $25.59 million, Bitwise's BITB received $5.96 million, and Morgan Stanley's MSBT added $3.37 million. A $50.39 million withdrawal from Grayscale's GBTC partially offset the gains. Daily bitcoin ETF trading volume reached $2.26 billion.
Ether and Altcoin Funds See Broad Gains
Ether ETFs recorded $192.35 million in net inflows with no reported withdrawals. Blackrock's ETHA led the category with $115.66 million, followed by Grayscale's Ether Mini Trust at $34.67 million, Fidelity's FETH at $32.01 million, Blackrock's ETHB at $6.37 million, 21Shares' TETH at $2.71 million, and Franklin Templeton's EZET at approximately $937,000. Ether ETF trading value totaled $951.11 million, lifting net assets to $15.13 billion.
Altcoin funds also experienced positive momentum:
- XRP ETFs: Recorded $28.14 million in net inflows, led by Bitwise's XRP fund, Franklin Templeton's XRPZ, and Canary's XRPC, bringing combined assets to $1.40 billion.
- HYPE ETFs: Brought in $14.71 million, led by Bitwise's BHYP with $9.57 million, Grayscale's HYPG with $3.73 million, and 21Shares' THYP with $1.41 million. HYPE net assets reached $419.48 million.
- Solana Funds: Added $9.14 million, led by Morgan Stanley's MSOL with $5.51 million, Bitwise's BSOL with $2.65 million, and Vaneck's VSOL with roughly $973,000, bringing net assets to $1.26 billion.
