Bitcoin ETFs Return to Positive Territory
U.S. bitcoin exchange-traded funds quickly recovered on Thursday, drawing $102.67 million in fresh capital just a day after a nine-session inflow streak ended. The rebound helped push bitcoin's price above $86,000 while total net assets for the category rose to $109.34 billion on a daily trading volume of $1.97 billion.
Blackrock’s IBIT led the recovery with a $195.57 million inflow, easily absorbing significant withdrawals elsewhere. Additional inflows came from Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust, which added $14.59 million, and Morgan Stanley’s MSBT, which brought in $7.04 million.
Conversely, Fidelity’s FBTC led the exits with $60.73 million in outflows. Grayscale’s GBTC lost $31.39 million, while Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB and Bitwise’s BITB shed $7.72 million and $6.89 million, respectively.
Mixed Performance Across Ether, Altcoin, and Zcash Funds
Institutional demand proved more selective across other digital asset products. Ether ETFs remained under pressure, recording $55.37 million in net outflows for their third consecutive losing day. Fidelity’s FETH shed $23.50 million and Grayscale’s ETHE lost $20.39 million, leaving net assets at $17.71 billion.
Meanwhile, Bitwise’s NEAR ETF continued its strong debut by adding another $8.08 million in its third straight session of inflows, bringing its net assets to $55.57 million. XRP ETFs added $4.07 million in total, and Grayscale’s HYPE ETF finished positive with $4.96 million flowing into HYPG.
Zcash faced heavy selling as Grayscale’s ZCSH recorded $28.26 million in outflows, pushing net assets down to $818.38 million. Solana ETFs also saw a net decline, losing $5.91 million despite a $5.38 million inflow into Grayscale’s GSOL.
