BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust recorded $665.2 million in net inflows on Monday, its largest single-day inflow since October 7, 2025. The inflow contributed to US spot Bitcoin ETFs attracting approximately $527 million in net inflows for the day, their strongest performance since September 22.
The inflows reversed recent weakness in the sector. US spot Bitcoin ETFs had shed about $229 million the previous week and $681 million the week before, following two consecutive weeks of net withdrawals.
Mixed Performance Across Providers
While BlackRock's fund led inflows, other providers experienced outflows on the same day. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund lost $83.6 million, and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust saw $54.9 million in withdrawals. Despite Monday's gains, US spot Bitcoin ETFs remain approximately $88 million in negative territory for October.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, which launched in January 2024, is the largest spot Bitcoin ETF with $66.37 billion in net assets.
Ethereum ETFs Extend Losses
Spot Ether ETFs posted a weaker performance, recording $103.3 million in net outflows on Monday and extending their losing streak to four days. BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust led those withdrawals with $95.4 million. Ether funds have lost approximately $320 million over the past week, marking their third consecutive week of net outflows.
Market Context and New Offerings
The inflows came while Bitcoin traded between $82,000 and $83,000. Analysts cited resilient institutional demand despite macroeconomic headwinds and Bitcoin's range-bound price action.
BlackRock also filed for a new Bitcoin fund on Monday. The proposed iShares Bitcoin Managed Protect ETF would offer investors downside protection along with upside exposure to the company's flagship Bitcoin ETF.
