Cardano's price fell 3.19% over the past week, but support has held near the $0.24 level. ADA was trading around $0.246 at press time, up 0.82% from recent lows.
The modest recovery coincides with renewed discussion of Cardano potentially reaching $2. However, analysts point to nearer-term resistance as a more immediate test of market strength.
Key Price Levels
ADA broke out of a downward price channel in September and moved toward the $0.26 area, which it has tested multiple times without a sustained breakthrough. The $0.24 level has become a focal point for buyers defending recent gains.
If support holds at $0.24, traders anticipate a potential move toward $0.26. A successful break above that level could open a path to $0.28. Conversely, a break below $0.24 could bring the $0.235 level into focus, potentially undermining the credibility of the recent uptrend.
Questions Around $2 Projections
Recent analyst commentary has suggested Cardano's community could help drive ADA toward $1, $1.50, or even $2—a move that would require gains exceeding 700% from current levels.
On-chain activity presents a more cautious picture. Total value locked in Cardano's DeFi ecosystem has fallen from approximately $140 million earlier in the year to roughly $60–70 million, though it has recovered slightly from recent lows. Trading activity on the network has been sporadic rather than sustained.
While these metrics do not rule out a longer-term recovery, they underscore why the $0.26 resistance represents a more meaningful near-term test than distant price projections.
