Cardano's ADA token climbed above $0.24 on Tuesday as buyers returned to the asset during a broader market rally. The cryptocurrency gained 7.03% to trade near the $0.244 price level, briefly reaching $0.2488.
The advance moved ADA above its 200-day moving average, which stood near $0.239. This marks the first time in roughly nine months that Cardano has traded above its average price over that period. Crossing longer-term moving averages can indicate the potential start of a sustained recovery, though a daily close above the level would strengthen the signal.
Buying Pressure Strengthens
Accumulation metrics improved significantly during the recent recovery, increasing from approximately 400 million to 695 million. This shift reflects greater buying than selling activity, though it does not guarantee further price gains will follow.
ADA has risen approximately 24.5% from its recent low near $0.196 in September.
Key Price Levels Ahead
The next resistance zone sits between $0.2488 and $0.25, where the latest advance stalled. If ADA breaks past this area, the $0.256 level could come into view.
Should the price retreat, the $0.239–$0.24 range represents the first support level to monitor. If buyers maintain prices above this zone, the former ceiling could become support. A deeper decline could push ADA toward $0.227.
Broader Market Conditions
Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies showed positive momentum, providing tailwinds for Cardano. The network's ongoing Leios development work may have provided additional support, though the upgrade remains under development and has not yet launched on the main network. Input Output reported in August that Leios achieved 6 times the usual Cardano throughput during initial testing.
