The memecoin CASHCAT experienced strong upward momentum, reclaiming the $0.2 level and reaching a new all-time high of $0.237. Trading around $0.2228, the asset marked a 53% surge on the daily charts, alongside a 115% increase in trading volume to $95.5 million and a 53% rise in market capitalization to $223 million.
The growth in volume and market cap reflects increased market participation and steady capital inflows. On-chain data from Lookonchain indicated that a large holder, or whale, who previously purchased 13.64 million CASHCAT for $1.49 million, returned to profit. The whale's holdings reached a value of $2.82 million, representing an unrealized profit of $1.3 million.
Market activity data shows that buyers maintained dominance across both spot and derivatives markets. Spot data from Coinalyze recorded 39.8 million in buy volume compared to 35.3 million in sell volume over a 24-hour window, resulting in a positive buy-sell delta of 4.5 million. In the derivatives sector, CoinGlass data indicated that Open Interest increased by 96.64% to $60.14 million, while derivatives volume rose 299% to $232 million. The Long/Short Ratio stood at 1.016, pointing to a prevalence of long positions.
Technical indicators also reflected strong buyer presence. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) formed a bullish crossover and rose to 71, while the MACD increased to 0.0096. Analysts note that maintaining a daily close above $0.22 supports the near-term outlook, while potential profit-taking by large holders could introduce downward pressure toward the $0.16 level.
