Celestia [TIA] fell 14.03% over 24 hours as fresh macroeconomic uncertainty triggered heavy selling across the altcoin market. The decline coincided with the Federal Reserve's hawkish stance and persistent inflation concerns, which weakened demand for riskier assets.
The Federal Reserve maintained its cautious monetary policy stance on October 28th, while September's PCE inflation came in at 3.6% annually, reinforcing expectations of extended restrictive interest rates.
Despite the price decline, TIA's trading volume surged 38.04% to $72.72 million, indicating elevated trading activity during the sell-off.
Derivatives Market Shows Sharp Contraction
Celestia's derivatives market registered a significant contraction in trader exposure beyond the spot market decline. According to CoinGlass, TIA's Open Interest dropped 28.60% to $75.86 million, suggesting traders closed positions as the token's price continued falling.
The combination of reduced Open Interest and increased spot trading volume pointed to a broader retreat in speculative participation, with traders reducing leveraged exposure despite heightened trading activity.
Bearish Pressure Across Both Markets
CryptoQuant analytics showed taker-sell dominance in both Celestia's spot and futures markets, indicating aggressive sellers outweighed buyers executing market orders. This coordinated bearish pressure across both venues complicated recovery attempts.
Without stronger buying participation, the token faced difficulty reversing its recent losses.
Technical Support Levels Under Pressure
On the daily timeframe, Celestia's price broke below the $0.4727 support level following an earlier rejection around the $0.5548 zone. The Parabolic SAR remained above the price at approximately $0.6616, preserving its bearish signal.
The RSI indicator fell to 39.44, remaining below its moving average and suggesting deteriorating buying strength. The breakdown exposed the $0.3277 level as the next major support point, though buyers still had a better chance of intervening before reaching that level.
A decisive reclaim of the $0.4727 resistance could ease immediate selling pressure and reopen a recovery attempt toward the $0.5548 region.
