Celestia [TIA] has rallied 23% over the past 24 hours and is up 62% over the past month, reaching $0.633—the highest price in 2024. The token is testing the $0.625 swing high from January after a price correction to $0.43 ended in late September.
Trading activity has intensified alongside the price movement. Open interest jumped 45% in the past 24 hours, while daily trading volume increased 213% according to CoinMarketCap data.
Network Upgrades Drive Rally
Two recent developments appear to have supported the price momentum. Celestia announced that its Fibre throughput reached 3.07 Tb/s, enabling capacity for 2 billion transactions per second. The network also implemented the Sustainable Blob Economy proposal in mid-September.
These architectural and economic upgrades coincided with TIA's price recovery, though the broader altcoin market faces headwinds. The altcoin season index has declined from altseason territory as Bitcoin corrected toward $80,000.
Technical Outlook
Celestia previously experienced a 57% drawdown from $0.625 to $0.269 in early 2024. The $0.50 resistance zone has been tested twice this year, in May and September. A daily close above $0.625 would confirm a structural reset in TIA's price structure, according to technical analysis.
The token's outperformance during a broader market correction highlights relative strength, though sustained gains will depend on whether Celestia can maintain momentum amid uncertain broader market conditions.
