Chainlink has launched CustodySync, a new institutional solution designed to connect traditional custodians with decentralized finance lending markets while maintaining asset security. Anchorage has been named as the official launch partner and the first qualified custodian to adopt the platform.
The initiative aims to serve lending platforms with over $80 billion in assets and approximately $700 billion in custodied digital assets. CustodySync synchronizes custody and lending systems throughout a loan's lifecycle, potentially enhancing loan valuation, reducing operating expenses, and preventing forced liquidations.
The solution enables institutional investors to access decentralized finance without relocating their digital assets from regulated custody arrangements.
LINK Token Activity
Seven whale wallets withdrew approximately $10.7 million worth of LINK from exchanges within 3.7 hours, according to reports. Such withdrawals may reduce immediate exchange supply, though the transactions alone do not indicate whether holders plan to retain their tokens long-term.
Price Movement
LINK traded around $11.366 at the time of reporting, with the token having retreated from its late-September peak near $15.50. The $11 support level remained within reach as sellers maintained control on the daily timeframe.
The RSI indicator stood at 35.58, below its moving average, indicating weak buying strength. The MACD line reached −0.405, below its signal line at −0.282, validating bearish conditions. A continued price correction could expose the $9.50 support level, while defending $11 could encourage buyers to challenge the $12.557 resistance level.
