Chainlink announced 40 new integrations in September across 24 separate users, according to a tally shared on October 7, 2026.
The integrations span multiple sectors and companies. Crypto-native participants included Aave, Coinbase, and Paxos, alongside newer blockchain networks Monad and Arc. Traditional finance and services firms on the roster included Bottomline Pay and Infosys.
Products and Capabilities
The integrations utilized several Chainlink products: the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), Data Feeds, and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE). Data Feeds deliver external information such as asset prices to smart contracts. CCIP enables tokens and messages to travel between different blockchains. CRE is the environment developers use to build and run applications on Chainlink's services.
Timeline and CCIP 2.0 Launch
Chainlink reported the integrations in phases throughout September. Around September 20, the protocol announced 16 integrations across 6 services and 7 chains. Around September 27, it announced an additional 14 integrations across 6 services and 4 chains.
On September 28, CCIP 2.0 went live, introducing security and compliance features aimed at institutional clients, including custom cross-chain verifiers and compliance tools.
Chainlink's Reported Metrics
Chainlink reported that CCIP has secured more than $84 billion in cross-chain token value and enabled cumulative transaction values exceeding $34–36 trillion. These are self-reported figures from the protocol.
No immediate impact on the price of LINK, Chainlink's native token, was reported following the announcements.
Implications
The mix of integrating users—combining established crypto infrastructure providers with traditional finance firms—suggests growing adoption beyond the crypto sector. The integrations demonstrate how many new doors opened to Chainlink's services, though the measure does not indicate transaction volume or active use. Future indicators of adoption will include whether the cross-chain value secured by CCIP continues to grow as these newer users activate their integrations.
